Phyllis Reynolds Hebb, Owner, founded Cornerstone Montessori School in March 1983. Originally from the East Coast, she came to Colorado to pursue a Master's Degree at the University of Denver. Her education includes nurse's training, Bachelor of Arts in English, Master's Degree work in Early Childhood Education, Montessori Education, and healing arts.

Jo Ann, Director

Jo Ann Pike has been employed at Cornerstone Montessori School since September 2001 as a classroom assistant and, since 2005, she has been the Assistant Director. Jo Ann attended Business College and worked as a secretary for many years, but decided on a career change and began studying Early Childhood Education (ECE) at Red Rocks Community College. Jo Ann earned her Director's Certification, and was awarded an Associates degree in ECE in December 2008. Jo Ann has been the interim Director of Cornerstone Montessori School since mid-June 2012.

Mary Lou, Office Manager/Enrollment Coordinator

Mary Lou Notari has been employed by Cornerstone Montessori School (CMS) since March 1997. She is currently the Enrollment Coordinator and Office Manager of CMS. Mary Lou has a degree in Business Administration with a minor in Computer Information Systems. Prior to her employment at Cornerstone, Mary Lou spent over 22 years in the computer and information systems management field working in both the public (federal government) and private sectors in various capacities, primarily in the areas of management and supervision of computer operations support, information processing, and clerical staff.

Ashley, Director-in-Training

Ashley Bass is an alumnus of Cornerstone Montessori School. She participated in the Cornerstone Montessori Summer Camp intern program, eventually serving as head intern. Then she moved into the classroom as a teacher's aide and substitute. Ashley left to go to school and received her B.A. in Elementary Education from Regis University. In June 2010, Ashley left the U.S.A. to spend 19 months in Honduras serving as a Peace Corps Youth Development Volunteer, where she became fluent in Spanish. After many years of coming and going from Cornerstone, she is glad to be back as part of the Administrative Team In Training (ATIT) and is glad to, once more, call Cornerstone home.
