Katy, Bilingual Classroom Assistant
My name is Katherine Perry and everybody calls me “ Katy” (pronounced Kaa – ty) . I’m from Colombia. I have always been interested in child development. Working in vacation centers, summer camps, as a nanny, different schools in Colombia, and doing musicals with children, told me that working with children is my gift and I love to do it. I have a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Javeriana University in Bogota, Colombia. I came to this country to study English 2 years ago, and now my life has been blessed with a wonderful husband to share my life and the opportunity to work in this spectacular place where the children can be just that: children. I am ready to learn so many things from them. I began working at Cornerstone Montessori School in August 2009.
